The Lion and the Mouse Story
STORY INTRODUCTION
Once upon a time, in a dense forest, there lived a mighty lion. He was the king of the jungle, feared and respected by all the animals. One day, after a satisfying meal, the lion was taking a nap under a tree.
The Mouse’s Plea
A little Mouse , in search of food, unknowingly ran over the Lion’s body. The Lion woke up and caught the Mouse. As the Mouse is afraid, Mouse begged for mercy.
“Please let me go, Your Majesty. I promise to help you someday if you spare my life,” the mouse begged.
The lion laughed at the idea of a Mouse helping the king of the jungle but decided to let him go out of kindness. The Mouse happily ran away from there.
The Lion in Trouble
A few days later, the Lion was caught in a hunter’s net. The Lion roared and struggled a lot, but the more he fought, the tighter the net became. His roars echoed through the forest, reaching the ears of the little mouse.
The Mouse’s Rescue
Remembering his promise, the Mouse ran to the Lion and saw the Lion trapped in a net. The Mouse quickly started biting the ropes with his sharp teeth. The Mouse chewed through the net until the Lion was free.
The lion, now free, looked at the mouse with gratitude. The Lion said “Thank you, little friend. You saved my life. I will never underestimate the power of kindness and a promise kept.”
CONCLUSION
The Lion and the Mouse became good friends. The Lion learned that even the smallest creatures can be of great help and that kindness is never wasted.
MORAL OF THE STORY
Even the smallest friend can be the greatest ally in times of need.
